PADI Instructor Development Course

Ever wanted to do your IDC but can’t afford to take the 2 weeks holiday away from your main job? Now you can with IDC-KUL’s night schedule. We offer night classes for candidates who have limited time away from their main jobs. Our PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is an 11-day full time program or 13 night part time (with 2 days in the islands before your IE) program designed to prepare qualified candidates to become PADI Instructors.
Our IDC is divided into two distinct segments. The first segment is the PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) course. The second portion is the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Together the two courses combine to encompass the entire IDC. Both courses must be completed before attending the PADI instructor examination (IE). Our IDC is actually run as four programs in one starting with the free IDC preparation-study and prep workshop, followed by the Assistant Instructor course, OWSI course and followed by the Emergency First Response Instructor before or after the PADI Instructor Examination (IE). As an added bonus we also will include an ENAX Instructor Specialty course to enable our candidates to me more experienced and marketable as an Instructor after the IE.
PADI Divemaster’s may choose just to attend the AI course first and later on after gaining more experience go on to complete the OWSI program.
PADI Divemaster’s may attend the full IDC and, upon successful completion, go on to the IE (as long as all other IE prerequisites are met).
PADI Assistant Instructor’s may attend the OWSI program only and upon successful completion, go on to the IE (as long as all other IE prerequisites are met).
Scuba Instructor affiliated with other certification organizations may attend an OWSI program only and, upon successful completion go on to the IE.
